My RISC OS

It has only recently come to our attention, that back in June, RISC OS dealer CTA Direct's (aka RiscStation) shop was destroyed by fire.

A few days ago, Virtual Acorn announced an update to their Virtual Risc PC for Macs. This update to the network plugin, resolves some reported issues with networking using Omniclient and LanMan98.

Apparently a new version of LanMan98 is currently under development, as noted recently by Chris Evans of CJE Micros in response to a discussion about NAS (Network Attached Storage) devices.

This week, APDL have announced that they now have the ability to offer online ordering for many of their products.

Since the last little news update, software authors have been busy at work and we've been treated to a few updates of various applications...

RISCOS Ltd. are considering the possibility of a mini-roadshow in Scotland on Friday 18th July and have been seeking feedback regarding likely attendance at such an event.  

Given the renewed interest in the site, we've taken the time to overhaul the "Web Links" section.

Since the Wakefield Show there has been a little news but this has not been widely reported. This short article is just a list of some of the news items which have hit the newsgroups.

As a bit of fun and again to encourage people to login and explore myriscos, we've published a poll for RISC OS users to vote in.
